Python-based microservice (internship), TietoEVRY, Brno
What will be your key responsibilities:
Your mission will be to develop a technological successor to a module written in PHP. The module serves as a standalone "facade" that translates logical user operations into tool-specific activities such as user and project management for various tools (Gitlab, Jira, Bitbucket etc). The successor will be a Python-based microservice fully covered by unit tests and tests covering REST endpoints of the microservice. The microservice will run as a Docker container.
Your work will cover following activities
- investigate and document existing module functionality
- propose, design and implement new solution (along with unit tests) in Python covering the same functionality as current module written in PHP
- review and improve current postman/newman test collections
- dockerize module according to project's conventions
