Python-based microservice (internship), Information Technology - Brno

What will be your key responsibilities:

Your mission will be to develop a technological successor to a module written in PHP. The module serves as a standalone "facade" that translates logical user operations into tool-specific activities such as user and project management for various tools (Gitlab, Jira, Bitbucket etc). The successor will be a Python-based microservice fully covered by unit tests and tests covering REST endpoints of the microservice. The microservice will run as a Docker container.

Your work will cover following activities

investigate and document existing module functionality
propose, design and implement new solution (along with unit tests) in Python covering the same functionality as current module written in PHP
review and improve current postman/newman test collections
dockerize module according to project's conventions
