Logistic Certificate Specialist - German, People-s-place GmbH, Nizozemsko, Maastricht

Our client is a well-known international car manufacturer and its Customer Service Center is the central point of contact in Europe, caring for the needs of current and prospective customers (B2C and B2B). The company is currently expanding its logistics department and is seeking to hire a Logistic Certificate Specialist (m/f/d) to support the team. The overall purpose of this role is that spare parts (after-sales) are available at all times and bottlenecks in the parts distribution are avoided.

What will be your key responsibilities:

This team ensures overall legal compliance and availability for all “CCC-Mandatory” spare parts for the Chinese market.
The Logistic Certificate Specialist acts within a logistic or technical department on high-level specialist tasks and reports directly to the Logistic Operations Manager. The main responsibilities are to provide the best quality of service and customer experience. Specific for Certificate Management this specific department ensures legal compliance within parts availability in the aftersales logistics business to our global partners around the world.

Task & Responsibilities:

  • Safeguarding (own) knowledge of processes, tools, and systems to the most current level within supported services
  • Supporting process changes (including changes in regulatory requirements)
  • Actively creating and ensuring up-to-date documentation on Knowledge and processes
  • Efficient and effective planning of own activities to safeguard SLAs and deadlines
  • Analysing, monitoring, and reporting quality standards and KPIs to the management level
  • Delivering high performance on quality to ensure customer experience
  • Ensuring all certificates/documents are available and valid in relevant internal systems
  • Tracking the approval process of certification/uploading correct and valid documents
  • Solving and handling escalations and involving other partners in the supply chain and/or Management
  • Leading and planning telco’s / follow-up meetings when needed
  • Supporting strategic business improvement projects and being able to lead work packages (track/communicate status and act on deadlines)
  • Being able to lead the implementation of new business and/or tasks in the team to ensure quality performance in the Team
  • Tracking and managing overall certificate costs and initiating a request for quotation (RFQ) for certification/recertification with the internal purchasing department when required
  • Ensuring professional standard of communication to internal-/external business partners worldwide
  • Methodological and LEAN approach to problem-solving (IF/NOT/THEN/WHEN/etc.)
  • Proactively identifying and signaling quality improvements and efficiency gained within supported services
  • Providing correct and accurate information

What experience should you have:

  • Excellent level (written and spoken) in German and English
  • Highly professional and consistent communication skills
  • Ability to manage complexity under high pressure and stress
