What will be your key responsibilities:

We have a great opportunity for a Senior Software Engineer in one of our exciting customer focused cross-functional feature teams. We are seeking an accomplished, proactive, and professional engineer to support the Cloud Department within Engineering. In this role, you will design, build, and enhance web solutions for our cloud IOT platform.
As a Senior Software Engineer on one of XiO Cloud’s development teams, you will be vocal, creative, collaborative, and supportive of others on the team. You will also be passionate about web technology and have a strong desire to solve complex large-scale problems. You will also provide support and mentoring to junior team members. Each development team is cross-functional, has its own feature roadmap, and effectively controls its own destiny. There are tons of opportunity to grow your career and learn new things!
What experience should you have:
Design and Development of Windows Azure Cloud Projects.
Development of Microservices that are used in the Crestron’s cloud solution.
Design, develop, code, test, and debug complex Cloud solutions.
Maintenance of existing products - new feature implementation and feature enhancements.
Diagnose, triage, and resolve any defects arising out of Production and/or Quality Engineering process.
Qualifications
Must have a minimum of 5 years of web development experience with C#.NET.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or relevant experience with accomplishments is required.
Experience with cloud software design patterns (micro services, messaging, distributed caching, etc.)
Demonstratable working knowledge of multithreaded environments and TPL.
Experience with Azure technologies: IoT Hub, Event Hub, Service Bus, Micro Services, Service Fabric, Distributed Cache, Document DB, etc
Web development experience with JavaScript frameworks, particularly Angular, is desirable.
Proven track record of successfully adopting new web technologies at an enterprise-wide level
History of technical leadership by ensuring architectural and functional specification correctness.
