Customer Service - German & English, People-s-place GmbH, Netherlands, Maastricht

Our client is a leader in precision dispensing, fluid management, and related technologies operating in 30 countries. The company is located in Maastricht, the Netherlands. To improve their Global Business Services they want to grow their Customer Service team, the company is looking for a Customer Service Employee (m/f/d) with German,  and English.

What will be your key responsibilities:

  • Completing requests received via phone or electronically from internal and external customers
  • Creating and managing standard quotations, sales orders, and returns in SAP in a timely manner according to established goals of the Customer Experience Supervisor
  • Handling internal and external customer inquiries regarding order status, inventory availability, delivery status, and pricing
  • Job duties can be including international transactions and requests
  • Following the correct process to communicate with other teams of our client to solve problems and get the information needed for an inquiry
  • Learning and following all customer service procedures and policies
  • Learning and using our client’s case management technology to retrieve and update the status of each task assignment
  • Reviewing case management requests to assign priority status and route to the correct customer service desk
  • Identifying opportunities to enhance and improve their daily tasks
  • Base performance standards against established metrics to drive performance improvements
  • Conducting yourself in a way that fosters a positive, supportive, and professional work environment in which everyone is treated with dignity and respect

What experience should you have:

  • Fluent business German language skills are required (written and verbal) and verbal skills in English
  • Minimum higher vocational degree
  • Relevant experience in a customer service-related environment or a business environment is highly desired
  • Computer literate (advanced knowledge of MS Office)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated customer service skills
  • SAP system knowledge preferred
  • Confidence on the phone
