Workforce Planner (m/w/d), Knuspr.de, Mnichov, Garching
The Workforce Planner is the person that will plan the working shifts of the employees and bond the Warehouse and Logistics activity. This role is crucial to get an efficient functioning fulfilment center. The Capacity Planner is in touch with warehouse management and will work closely with human ressources to ensure operations and shift planning are rolled out smoothly.
What will be your key responsibilities:
- Detailed planning of the employee activity, productivity, and quality metrics; work one-on-one with employees in order to plan the shifts accordingly. Support employees with problem resolution or remove barriers when appropriate.
- Plan employee schedules to ensure 100% coverage. Monitor weekly hours to manage personnel and overtime costs.
- Manage and work effectively with different functions (HR/Operations/Controlling)
- Clearly communicate capacity organization’s strategic objectives and team/individual performance metrics. Ensure daily/weekly stand-ups are executed with quality and relevant information is shared in a timely manner
- Utilize analytics to drive decision making, manage employee performance and improve quality. Promote usage among the team to ensure appropriate action is being taken in response to results
- Stay apprised of industry trends and market drivers related to modes, products, services, pricing or verticals. May act as a subject matter expert in communicating with various internal stakeholders
- The role can be based in our warehouse of Munich (Garching), or Frankfurt (Bischofsheim)
What experience should you have:
- High School Diploma or Higher Education
- Highly data and analysis skills
- Experienced manager that can drive teams outside their area of responsibility
- Experience with dealing with senior stakeholders and ambig
- Logistics / production experience preferred;
- People shifts planning experience preferred;
- Used to work with high volumes of data and people (+500 people units);
- Very good knowledge of Excel – mandatory;
- Easy to adapt to new systems
- Fluent in German and English (written and verbal)
