Test engineer, TietoEVRY, Ostrava
We are looking for a functional tester who will join our Ostrava team (60+people). Our business is telecom - we take care of our customer - a mobile network operator in Scandinavia. Our team develops and maintains an ecosystem of components providing the ordering functionality, product catalogue area, payments, functionality, data provisioning for the front-end applications and many other. You will be responsible for testing of the Order management area (backend components) using both manual and automation approach cooperating with about 10+ dev colleagues in your sub-team and other testing colleagues in surrounding teams. We work in Agile way (SAFe methodology), have direct cooperation with customers, our solution is modern, microcomponental, running in the cloud environment (AWS), we use continues delivery and lot of automation. Our team mindset is to innovate and this is fully supported and even required by our telco customer, we organise team Hackathons each year. What will be your key responsibilities:
- Regression and functional testing of UI and API level
- Communication with developers’ team regarding test scenarios and reported issues
What experience should you have:
- At least basic SQL skills (be able to perform CRUD operations in Oracle, MariaDB etc.)
- Experience with testing of web services (REST, SOAP)
- English (spoken and written) that allows effective communication
- Team player, communicative, proactive
Advantage:
- At least one-year experience in SW testing
- Experience with SoapUI or Postman is welcome
- Knowledge of GIT, JIRA (be able to work with these tools)
