We're currently establishing a team of customer-oriented technicians with focus on on-site network.
As a Digital Hub Brno providing IT Support for Heidelberg Materials with cement plants around the world, we need to keep our on-site network secure and functional.
You'll manage Process Control Network (PCN) which is used as a communications network layer in our cement factories in EMEA and NAM region.
What will be your key responsibilities:
What will you do
At this point we're looking for a dedicated person to be in touch with plant technicians and directors to keep them updated of the status. You will respond to incoming requests and incident through the ticketing system. Configuration of network components, firewalls and application will be an important part of the job. Once a request comes in from the plant, you will be responsible for informing the plant of the progress of the task and its resolution. As we're supporting Heidelberg Materials' countries across the world, on-call duty will be required.
What experience should you have:
You are an ideal candidate if you:
- Understand the basics of networking
- Have similar knowledge to CCNA certificate
- Have at least 1 year experience with configuration and troubleshooting of Cisco switches and access points
- Have basic knowledge of firewalls
- Are fluent in English, both written and spoken
