Group QA engineer, Informační technologie - Zagreb

We are looking for an experienced QA engineer with test automation experience who will be essential part of talented software development team that works on FEG mission-critical components.

You will be working on a challenging project to build new responsive micro frontend that will become a backbone of future FEG presentation layer. You will have an opportunity to apply analytical thinking to solve problems and find pragmatic solution that will be a lasting value. We need you to communicate clearly and proactively and be always actively seeking for improvements in existing technologies or processes

What will be your key responsibilities:

Test analysis and test case preparation on a project or product deliverables
Plan, schedule and perform test scenarios and tests
Identify options for test automation and help with design of automation-ready test cases
Create and improve automated test cases so that they can run reliably in several countries on different browsers and platforms
Actively participate on planning and testing in Agile or Project deliverables and act as an advocate for build-in quality
Regularly communicate with business owners and developers
Test APIs (REST, SOAP) and database changes
Investigate opportunities for API and desktop app automation
Creating Test Plans for deliverables based on assignments
Follow and advocate corporate QA governance and defined E2E delivery processes
Actively participate within the QA community

What experience should you have:

Good verbal and written communication knowledge of English language
At least 3 years full-time experience with software testing
At least 1 years full-time experience with test automation
Experience with automation testing of FE desktop applications (ideally Selenium)
Experience with manual or automated testing of APIs: SOAP, REST, message brokers
Mastering of test case creation, test case management tools
Experience with Agile development and testing
Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery concepts is an advantage
Knowledge of shell scripting in an advantage
Ability to work independently
