Group Financial Controller, Informační technologie - Bádensko-Württembersko, Ulm

Our client is a world-class provider of high-tech products and services to the world's major industrial firms and scientific research institutions. In order to support their growth, they are looking for a motivated Financial controller (m/f/d) to join their Finance department in Ulm.

What will be your key responsibilities:

Reporting, commentary preparation & analysis of the monthly financial statements
Carrying out consolidation within the business group
Preparation of weekly, monthly and ad-hoc reports & analysis for UK head office.
Contribute to the review of consolidated data, forecast analysis and budget forecast with a focus on margin and overhead specifically in relation to the parent company's products in the UK
Regular review of reports in relation to key KPIs (revenue, margin, order and sales analysis) for the companies in Germany and abroad
Proactive preparation, analysis of financial data and resulting advice to decision makers (e.g. managers R&D, Operations)
Support and integration of the new finance functions after the takeover, such as setting up reporting based on the specifications of the mother company including the introduction of weekly / monthly reporting
Intra-company allocations for staff, materials and expenses
Support in the cooperation with auditors and in the preparation of annual financial statements

What experience should you have:

Degree in Finance or Accounting & Controlling
Fluent German (C2) and English (C1)
Proven experience in consolidation, budgeting, and forecasting within a complex, international company
Good knowledge of P&L, balance sheet and cash flow accounting, planning and reporting (IFRS/HGB)
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with various collaborators
Team player
Strong numerical and analytical skills
