Involvement in projects (European and Global) as directed by the Accounting Manager
Accounting for accruals, prepayments and payroll entries for assigned European countries, including resolution of all outstanding issues and reconciling items
Bank statement / transaction processing and reconciliations
Fixed asset accounting (from acquisition to disposal)
Inter-company accounting, invoicing, reconciliation and reporting
Reconciliation of Balance sheet accounts
General ledger journal entries
Month-end accounting and closure activities
Review of coding of AP invoices
Cross-regional responsibilities including assistance with ad hoc analysis and analytics as needed
Contact with external and internal auditors (Corporate audit, internal audits and local statutory audits) as required by the team manager
Contact and involvement with local finance staff in the various EU countries

Preferably degree in Accounting/Finance
2+ years’ experience in Accounting
Accounting certification preferably completed or ongoing (ACCA or Chartered Accountant)
Major ERP system experience (Oracle experience preferred)
Previous SSC experience an advantage
Fluent in 2 European Languages (which must include English)
Highly organised and self-motivated
