Senior IT Project Manager, Provident, Prague
This role main responsibility is to support organisation in achieving strategic goals by providing best in class project & programme management service. Senior Project Manager manages the full lifecycle of large risk and scope projects and programmes.
This role is to deliver projects / programmes on time and in budget by planning and organising resources and people, agreeing scope of work to be completed, managing the budget, setting deadlines, delegating tasks to project team, identifying any risks or issues and escalation when required. The role requires interactions with many stakeholders across the business, including collaboration with and reporting to senior stakeholders.
What will be your key responsibilities:
- Developing project / programme scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
- Coordinating development of Business Case
- Ensuring proper resources requirements, availability and allocation
- Coordinating internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
- Providing leadership to cross-functional teams, ensuring they are engaged and motivated to deliver expected outcomes
- Developing a detailed project plan to track progress
- Using appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project / programme scope, schedule and costs
- Measuring project / programme performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
- Managing the relationship with all stakeholders
- Performing risk management to minimize project / programme risks
- Solving the problems arising in the project / programme
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with third parties and vendors
- Creating and maintaining comprehensive project / programme documentation
- Ensuring that project is delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
- Providing accurate project / programme reporting enabling an informed decision making process
- Effective communication with Project / Programme Sponsor and Steering Committee
- Ensuring effective hand-over of project product(s) to BAU and closing the project
- Capturing lessons learned from the project and sharing them with other Project Managers
What experience should you have:
- University/college degree (preferred in finance/project management);
- Knowledge of project management and change implementation methodologies and techniques (Agile, Scrum, Prince2);
- At least 5 years of experience in delivering projects of large complexity or at least 2 year of experience in delivering programmes
- Leading matrix functions
- Excellent behavioural competences, incl’: Problem solving, Leadership, Influencing, Negotiating, Communication,
- Strong business acumen
- Strategic thinking
- Very good understanding of financial institutions
- Very good written and spoken English;¨
- Willingness to work in the office as required.
Readiness to foreign business trips ((at least once a quarter)
