SAP Data Migration Specialist, Global IT Center, South Moravia

What will you do

• Prepare, organize, and support the data migration and cut-over process during SAP implementations or SAP roll-outs in an international environment
• Ensure the smooth go-live of SAP deployments and drive the data plan and the execution of tasks against this, as well as local coordination and execution in cooperation with Project Management
• Support the cut-over planning in different projects
• Monitor data and cut-over progress and communicate to the project management team including status, progress, issues, etc.
• Provide troubleshooting in a consultative role with the customers to advise on best practices where appropriate
• Refine data migration processes to be clear and efficient
• Perform the data loads into the SAP Core System
• Conduct & facilitate workshops with business representatives & project team
• Define and create new upload tools

You are an ideal candidate, if you possess:

• Very good educational background, preferably in the fields of computer science or engineering or similar fields e.g. business information systems etc.
• Experience with migrations of SAP data in complex, global, release-deployed SAP projects
• Good understanding of key SAP functional process streams and a solid understanding of the SAP data model and most commonly used master- and transactional data elements
• Big advantage is experience with S/4 HANA Roll-outs as well as with the S/4 HANA Data Migration Cockpit
• Proven pro-active team player and self-starter with problem-solving skills using techniques to identify the root cause of the issue and the ability to communicate
• Strong expertise in MS Office and SAP
• Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development
• ABAP programming and experiences with the LSMW toolset would be a big advantage
• Openness to new technical solutions
• Excellent customer-facing and internal communication skills
• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail
• Willingness to travel and participate in IT roll-out projects worldwide
• Fluent English
