Heidelberg Materials, the world leader in construction materials, offers an opportunity in their Digital Hub Brno – the company’s centralized IT Infrastructure team.

The Consultant & Deployment team serves as a technical partner to the customers to consult the best solution to satisfy the customer need. CAD ensures that global services are efficiently deployed to fulfill local requirements (supported by valid business cases), prepares migration strategies, and assists the local IT teams during the implementation phase. We work closely with Product Teams and across NAM, APAC and EMEA regions where we ensure that consistent deployment is happening.

What will be your key responsibilities:

WAN (DMVPN, BGP, EIGRP, SD WAN)
LAN network infrastructure - Cisco Catalyst (knowledge of other platforms is advantage)
Wireless infrastructure
Security
Server virtualization
Storage systems
SDDC and automation knowledge
Cloud technologies and automation

What will you do

Your daily bread will consist of getting new skills, learning something new, creating solutions for new scenarios, validating and optimizing a variety of deployments, and providing quality consulting services with problem-solving skills.

What experience should you have:

You are experienced in:

IT field from global, complex company
Routing and switching (equal to CCNP level)
Automation (Python or Ansible)
Cloud technologies on basic level
Providing consultancy for large customers
Enterprise environment

You are:

happy to learn new things

willing to travel
very good with English
