Junior Accountant, Hattrick Bet - Fortuna Rumunsko, Romania, București
Support the accounting & financial operations of allocated companies according to local and group procedures.
What will be your key responsibilities:
- Support the month-end, year-end closing operations (e.g. account analysis and reconciliation of general ledger accounts, bank reconciliation, posting the accruals for untaken holiday/bonuses/account payables, posting the provisions, validate and import of salaries related to the cost center level etc.) according to local and group procedures and deadlines;
- Perform monthly and quarterly accounts reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting;
- Support in preparing tax returns (VAT, Corporate tax, WHT, D394, D390, D301, Intrastat, etc);
- Involved in prepare and update internal accounting procedures of the company and make sure that the accounting compliance is in line with local legislation and group accounting standards;
- Ensure bookkeeping is in line with accounting rules , fiscal legislation and other regulatory requirements;
- Support other departments by providing timely and accurate feedback on various requests;
- Support in preparation of all statutory accounting reports and financial statements and various reports as required by the management;
- Support the external & internal audits with accurate and complete requested information;
- Ensure accuracy of all the daily transactions posted in the system;
- Complies with the Code of Conduct and the ethics chart of the Group, internal procedures, internal regulations, and norms of quality.
What experience should you have:
- University degree in Finance or related domain;
- At least 1-2 years’ experience on a similar position
- English – B2 level (spoken and written)
- Microsoft Office package (e.g. excel)
- Knowledge related to accounting ERP (preferable Charisma system)
