Financial Controller, Rohlik Group, Prague, Prague – Karlín

Support the Group Financial Reporting Manager with month end close and support the business in compliance with group finance policies and controls. Influence process improvements to ensure our processes are robust and appropriate for the business as it grows.

 Key areas of responsibility for the position

• Month end
• Cashflow optimisation
• Financial and finance systems controls

Tasks performed by this role include:

• Month end close and consolidation
• Completeness and accuracy checks and balances review
• Finalise accruals and prepayments
• Inter-company elimination
• Control closure of ledgers in NetSuite
• Local reporting packs for Italy and Spain
• Consolidation of month end data
• Headcount reporting
• Produce month end cost centre and balance sheet packs
• Cash flow reporting
• Tracking of daily cash movements
• Review of rolling cash flow forecast and cash requests
• Own the process for inter-company recharge of head office costs
• Support the Shared Services Team
• Coding support for transactions
• Accounting support for acquisition and disposal of assets
• Capitalisation queries
• Tax treatment of travel expenses
• Help resolve PO and invoice approval bottlenecks
• Finance Systems support
• Own the chart of account change request process
• Maintain mapping tables
• Ensure alignment of key reporting data sets

• Relevant finance qualifications and in-depth finance expertise ideally in international / retail environment
• Strong technical accounting skills
• Compliance mindset, knows what “good” looks like
• Collaborative problem solver
• Experienced in closing month end accurately and on time
• High attention to detail and good analytical skills
• Enjoy working in an innovative, very fast paced and ever-changing environment
• Team player and good communication skills
• Fluency in English a must
