Data Engineer-Platforms, Information Technology - Czech Republic, India

What will be your key responsibilities:

Optimized SQL queries, procedures, data pipelines, storage, processes and databases
Monitor data loads, ensure all the loads are completed on time and meet the SLA
Manage the production environment, database, data warehouse, data lake
Develop key KPIs for data platform to be reviews, develop dashboards to monitor them
Provide 24*7 support for maintenance of the platform on a rotational basis
Support the products and architecture teams in building and using tech frameworks
Lead the Devops team of size 4+

Strong database administration experience with MS SQL Server/Synapse (relational DB)
Strong understanding of cloud technology – Networking, costing and monitoring
Good understanding of Azure data tools (DataBricks, Data Factory, Data Lake, Cosmos DB, Event Hub, PowerBI, Synapse, SQL Server)
Understanding (big) data concepts and patterns (data lake, lambda architecture, streaming processing, DWH, BI & reporting), message technologies like Storm, Spark-Streaming, etc.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in data and 2+ years of experience as a DBA
Experience with any one object-oriented/object function scripting languages: Python, Scala, Java, Scala, R, C++ etc.
Experience in using CI/CD automation tools
